The Intermedial Eighteenth Century

I am acting as a technical assistant for The Intermedial Eighteenth Century – conference – 14-18th September 2020.

The conference was organised by Dr. Claudine van Hensbergen as part of her AHRC Leadership Award for the project Learning through the Art Gallery: Art, Literature and Disciplinarity (2019-2021). The AHRC project is run in partnership with The Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and The Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead. The conference was run in conjunction with the Eighteenth-Century Literature & Visual Culture Research Network.

Masters Graduation

I am thrilled to have achieved a Master of Research in History with a Distinction. Only with the help and support of the fantastic faculty at Northumbria University was this possible.

Repurposed Interdisciplinary Conference

It was great to have the opportunity to present at the REPURPOSED: Reclaiming Past Objects, Knowledge, and Narratives Interdisciplinary Conference. My presentation Repurposing Tom Thumb: An Early Modern Arthurian Hero is available by clicking this link.

REPURPOSED: Reclaiming Past Objects, Knowledge, and Narratives

I have enjoyed organising and looking forward to presenting at a fantastic virtual interdisciplinary symposium with fellow MRes students at The University of Northumbria, which will go live 9am Tuesday 19th May 2020.

We encourage our visitors to participate in our question and answer session which will be open Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st within the comment section of each panel page. The presenters will regularly review this forum and answer any question over this three-day period.

We hope you will enjoy the flexible nature of this interdisciplinary conference and we welcome participation from all our visitors.
